Juanjuí is the capital of Mariscal Cáceres Province (the largest in the region) in the south of the San Martin region in northern Peru. Juanjuí is a town in Northern Peru, the capital of the province Mariscal Cáceres in the San Martín Region and located on the left edge of the Huallaga River. There are 54,006 inhabitants, according to the 2010 census.
