The Pechora lies on the Pechora River in the Komi Republic and is often used as the gateway for Yugyd Va National Park. Pechora (Russian: Печо́ра, Komi: Печӧра, Pečöra) is a town in the Komi Republic, Russia, located on the Pechora River, west of and near the northern Ural Mountains. The area of the town is 28.9 square kilometers (11.2 sq mi). Population: 43,105 (2010 Census).
