Reşiţa is a city in Caras-Severin County in Romania. Reșița (german: Reschitz, Hungarian: Resicabánya, Croatian: Ričica, Czech: Rešice, Serbian: Решица/Rešica, Turkish: Reşçe) is a city in western Romania and the capital of Caraș-Severin County. It is located in the Banat region, broadly considered part of Transylvania. The city had a population of 73,282 in 2011.
