Syktyvkar is a city in northwestern Russia of about 235,000 and the capital city of the Komi Republic. It is an industrial city and also a major logistics hub for forestry products.
Syktyvkar (Russian: Сыктывка́р, Komi: Сыктывкар) is the capital city of the Komi Republic, Russia, as well as its largest city. It is also the capital of the Syktyvkar Urban Okrug. It was previously known as Ust-Sysolsk (until 1930), after the Sysola River.
