Vanimo is the capital of West Sepik, or Sandaun, a province in the Sepik region of Papua New Guinea. You can travel overland to or from the neighbouring Indonesian province of Papua via Vanimo.
Vanimo is the capital of Sandaun Province (West Sepik) in north-westernmost of Papua New Guinea and of the Vanimo-Green River District. It is located on a peninsula close to the border with Indonesia.
