Zahedan is the capital of Baluchistan province in Iran. It is a border city connecting Iran with Pakistan and if one is not going through Afghanistan, they'll have to pass through Zahedan on the overland route from Istanbul to New Delhi.
Zahedan (Balochi and Persian: زاهدان, Zâhedân) is a city and capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 587,730.
